About the Journal
The Journal of Global Human Rights is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality, original research on human rights from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The Journal of Global Human Rights focuses on the interdisciplinary study of human rights as defined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The journal welcomes contributions from philosophy, law, political science, and sociology that address the nature, foundations, implementation, and challenges of human rights at national, regional, and international levels.
The Journal of Global Human Rights is an initiative of the Research Committee 26 on Human Rights of the International Political Science Association (IPSA).
Open Science
• Pre-prints: authors may post pre-prints on recognised servers (e.g., SSRN, PhilArchive) before, during, or after peer review. The pre-print should be updated with a link to the published version once available.
• Research data: authors are encouraged to deposit underlying research data in open access repositories federated with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and to link datasets to the published article via persistent identifiers.
• Inclusive language: the use of inclusive, non-sexist language is encouraged. Where relevant, authors are encouraged to incorporate sex/gender analysis in research design, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions.
